I want to take walks with you. Go to the beach and watch the sunrise. Watch movies together the entire day until we both fall asleep. I want to bake cookies, build a giant fort out of blankets, and then eat them together. Take naps together & know that you’ll always be there to hold me. I want to go to the park with you & play on the playground like we’re five again. I want someone to tell me that it will be okay no matter what, and truly mean it. Someone to make me hot cocoa and sit outside with me in the chilly weather. A person to watch a meteor shower with me or maybe just the normal night sky. I want you to wake me up every once in a while with a sweet text message. Eat ice cream out of the carton and watch my favorite shows. Someone to just sit there quietly and listen when I truly need it.
